If we die for them, Harry, I'll kill you!

As I was reading the ending I though, “This was how the Hunger Games should have ended.” Not that she gets both guys, but a long, lengthy ending that answers all the questions. Cassandra Clare wrapped up all the loose ends and made an ingenious ending.

Now that I know what happens with Jem, I feel like I should go back and read the books again. I feel in love with Will too deeply to like Jem for Tessa. After Clockwork Prince, I couldn’t handle it. However, now that this is over, I am so happy that she gets to marry Will and have Jem later. This has been one of the best endings to a book I’ve ever read. Endings are extremely difficult and Cassandra Clare has proved her genius. 

I love this journey that I’ve been on with her. I’ve been reading the books since City of Bones and I’ve been able to see how her writing has improved and her overarching genius. She is know #2 on my greatest authors list, right under J.K. Rowling. 

Finished Clockwork Prince. I just don’t know what to feel. I don’t want to rant, so I’ll just post my theory. I think Tessa probably stays with Jem and Will becomes a Silent Brother. He becomes Brother Jeremiah. Either that or it’s the other way around. Remember in City of Lost Souls how he is obsessed with Jace Herondale and keeping the last Herondale alive? So I think it’s Will trying to keep his bloodline there or Jem looking after his parabatai’s bloodline. And Brother Jeremiah said he had loved two people once. Well, that could go either way. 

Tessa talks to Magnus at the end of City of Glass. He’s seen talking to a grey-eyed girl. Any thoughts?

I’ve had City of Lost Souls and Clockwork Prince sitting on my bookshelf for months tempting me, but I never found the time with school work (college probs). Now that it’s Christmas break, I devoured City of Lost Souls and now I’m about to read Clockwork Prince. I’ve been into this series since City of Bones and I can’t wait for the movie and new books to come out. Seeing all the ships on tumblr has made me so happy. 

I also love all the references Cassandra Clare makes in her books. If we met in real life, we’d be friends. We’re into the same nerdy things. 

Does anybody else kind of feel for Sebastian/Jonathan? I don’t want him to die. I really want him to find some redemption and be happy. Valentine is posthumously developing from a flat character and I think Sebastian/Jonathan has depth that very imperceptible. Although, that short story at the end makes you wonder.
